So I went and picked up 3 more games this week... in the rain. No rain for an entire month here, and 5 minutes before I pick up these games it starts pouring! Just my luck! I was properly equipped with a covered trailer and a tarp, so despite the rain, the moisture exposure was minimal.

And now, for pictures of the first 2 -- Gauntet Dark Legacy (conversion) and E-SWAT Cyber Trooper (converted from a dedicated Alien Syndrome cab!)

The third game is a real TURKEY. I really doubt anyone on this forum would be interested in seeing it...

Turkey Shoot!?!

Well done! EagleTG wins the Rep prize!

OK, here are some pictures for you guys.

I gotta say, this is a great game, and the cabinet was a real achievement for Williams. It is a great example of the mindset of the golden-era games -- good solid fun with a wacky premise, games that realize they are games, and don't take themselves too seriously. I've been playing it a bunch today, and though the Turkeys still get the best of me, I'm loving every defeat.

i have the same luck...goes weeks with no rain here, soon as i go pick one up it rains.

Happened to me again this morning, soon as I got it in the garage, 30 min later the sun was out for the rest of the day. what the hell?

Yeah, it is funny how that always seems to happen. After the first time, I have learned to keep a 'Game Pickup Kit' permanently in my truck. It includes:

1 Large Rain Tarp
Tape Measure
Screwdriver and socket set
8 of those 2'x2' interlocking floor pads (6 for the floor of the truck, one for the edge of the door when levering games into the bed, and one for the ground for the game to 'land' on. These really help keep the games in nice shape when moving!)
Dolly

This all really helps if I need to move on a game quickly.

Excellent... feathers and all! Congrats...

Yeah, the cab is all complete, feathers and all. Though I'm going to have to figure out how to get the monitor glass off, because a spider seems to have climbed in the 'feather chamber' and made a web some time in the past, and now some of the feathers are caught up in it on the left. Need to get in there and clean it out a little. But other than that, the feather action works perfectly!
