I picked up both of these this week. Sadly, Bud and RB were converted. Cabs are nice. I have almost all the parts to bring them back. Love the color Tapper.

That's pretty cool.

If the KLOV listing is correct, your color version is one of about 100.

that's disputed btw, but Im sure its a low number.

I've had at least 5 over the years and Gaymond Lee had 10+

love the side by side photo! me thinks it would be cool to have rootbeer on the right side art and bud on the left side art

congrats awesome score, the colors on the cabs look bright and not faded and washed out

I don't believe the production numbers are correct. I've seen a few of them pop up over the years. Don't get me wrong, they aren't common machines, but I don't think 100 is a accurate number. Good score!!

Great looking RBT artwork there! The colors looks like they haven't faded much at all. Good luck with the restoration.

I love Tapper. I have seen the color side art once and also a cocktail table. Really haven't seen the game around much. I also had the good fortune to play Timber once as well. Great games.

I might have to agree with you. The serial numbers are 17X on the Bud and 18X on the RB. I wonder if the serial numbers were sequental for all the cabs this style and they switched back and forth assembeling Buds, Rootbeers and Timbers?

if you need a root beer tapper marquee, I have one in storage. I have a pcb too, but I probably would wat to keep it.

Let me know if you decide to sell it

I have a marquee for both. I do need some stuff to put them back together.

Tapper Bazel
2 Burgertime/Tapper style joysticks
4 tap handles
2 Galaga joysticks
1 harness. ( I have other MCR harness to adapt but would like an origional)
1 Rootbeer Tapper board.

I have an extra Tapper PCB if you need one.

Jon

There looks to be a ton of ROMs to swap to convert one. No big deal but time consuming. I will send you a PM.

I think the Bud bartender needs a career change; he does not look happy. More like apeshit.

I'd suggest being a lumberjack, or setting up dominoes...

There's a name I haven't heard in a long time. Since before the rebellion, before the dark times. I know that Blast from the Past had one of the Bud Tapper color cabs. Those fetched stupid $$ back in the day.

I think I bought my Mappy from Gaymond when I moved to CA. Good price, and great machine.

Too bad the morons in the apartment above me got the bright idea to flush paper towels down their toilet, and flood my apartment through the ceiling. Swelled the bottom of the cabinet...
