So I been looking for a Simpsons to add to my collection for a while, one came up locally on CL and a local Klove'r gave me a heads up on one with a MMAO price so I called the seller made my offer and it was sold. The game had no side art and the marquee, control panel needed a repro as the person who owned it photo copied the original and printed it on paper to add to the machine it was a project for sure and the cost of replacing everything was going to be costly. I was bummed out that the original joysticks were replaced with happs so finding the originals was going to be tough.

I happened to be checking CL again and found a Flintstones egg machine and remember those when I was a kid and had to have one for the Gameroom collection. It was also a MMAO deal and made my offer and it was sold. When I arrived to pick up the egg machine I noticed the seller had a nice collection mainly pinballs but only had 2 arcades and one was a dedicated Simpsons he said it was next to go on CL I asked how much and it was a good deal compared to what I was going to spend on my other Simpsons art work so I told him I wanted it. I ended up selling my other Simpsons to get the one I wanted and didn't have to spend a fortune to get it back to the way it originally looked.

Awesome score Steve ! That Flinstones egg machine brings back memories . Good job .

Nice pickups Steve! :)

I'm sure kiddies will love that egg machine. Talk to Johnnie about where to get bulk prizes if you haven't already.

Thanks Jess! Yeah my daughter is loving the egg machine I found a vender online and ordered some eggs with toys in them so she will enjoy it more.

best prize for these

I was staring at that listing also but I also have like 4x2 Tomy Gatcha machines I got for capsule prizes recently.

Get a set of these. Egg shaped, Dinosaur themed, and Cheap. My boys love them but then again are boys.

Finding the two missing Wico dust caps will be pretty hard as no one repros them and they are an odd size. I suspect that you want to get your simpsons minty. Also check to make sure that your joy shafts are not rusted against the return to center grommet. Oil if needed.

those eggs are good for a route and to make money but for home use i found it better to spend more and go to a party wharehouse store and buy the prizes and eggs seperatly.thats what i did with the fun chicken.it costs more but the kids actually like the prizes.

Was the second seller in the San Ramon-ish area? Just curious, cause I know a guy with a bunch of pins, but only like 2 vids. One was a Simpsons just like that. :p

Congrats Steve, Simpsons is a great game for when you have people over. It's one of the most played games on my 4-player Mame setup. Good to hear you got a great deal on it!

Thanks John! It's defiantly a great 4 player game for once my wife and 2 daughters and myself can play a game together, lots of family fun :) now I have to find a spot for it since it's a huge game and takes up space!

The best part of it all is that you were going to restore a TMNT that was converted to a Simpsons. Thats why there was no sideart, the controls were not original, and the cpo was "custom". Instead you found a nice dedicated Simpsons, good work!
