When a monitor needs time to warm up: cap kit or new flyback?

When a monitor needs to "warm up" to reach the desired colors and brightness, is that something replacing caps will fix or is that a fault of the flyback? I have a monitor that I'm fairly pleased with, but it takes about 10 minutes for it to reach a desirable brightness.

Also, the infamous flashing white on a screen causing the picture to distort... is that a cap fixable issue as well, or something else? (same monitor)

After doing a nearly successful cap kit on one monitor, I'm addicted to it and wish to fix these minor issues with a different one.

Not likely the flyback... could be caps, or it could be the tube.

I assume you're talking about blooming, where a bright flash causes the screen to get bigger and smaller? That's usually caused by bad voltage regulation or adjustment. Check your B+ and adjust it to the proper voltage, and if that doesn't fix it, look at the regulation circuit (caps, solder joints, etc).
