Whats with this Mars Trek pinball being $4000?

Wow, if this thing sells, I'm putting mine up for sale !
Honestly though, this is the only other one I've seen or heard of other than the one I have. The pics on
They were made in Spain if I'm not mistaken, so maybe not many in the states, dunno for sure.

My friend has one of these. He picked it up in beautiful condition for $200. All his needed was new rubbers, a few switches adjusted, and some bulbs replaced. It's a fun game, and worth more than the $200 he paid, but I am thinking in perfect condition probably a $500-$600 pin tops.

I don't know about this specific pin, but I've had lots of Sonic pinballs and had trouble giving them away (relatively speaking). MUCH less desirable in my opinion than Williams, Bally, Gottlieb, and even Chicago Coin.

But it's been a few years since I was heavily into pinballs...maybe things have changed.

It's a fun pin for what it is, and seems to be pretty durable for the 4 years I've had it. It's played almost every weekend and has had minimal mechanical issues. Playfield is in pristene condition too. But that's my pin and not the one listed.
I just never heard much about this particular one until now, but knowing there are at least 3 or 4 (undoubtably more) out there, doesn't make me feel mine is worth any less than what I feel it is ($500-$600). But also nowhere near a $4000 price tag though.
