Whats the proper punch down tool for this connector?

Was wondering - does anyone know whats the easiest way to "punch down" wires into this style connector?
picture.php

Trying a little screwdriver kinda sucks - was just wondering if anyone knows of the "proper" tool for these?
Thanks!

Looks pretty similar to a phone punch down panel. Maybe this impact tool will work? I can test it out tomorrow.

Thanks Tombo!
I was looking at something similar to that - figured id ask before I ruin a good connector.

No problem. Funny thing is, I was going to take home my tools last night but I left them all at work. I need to swing by work today anyway so I will grab them and test it out. Testing this process has actually been an item on my long ass list to do.

"Just Say No" to insulation displacement connectors.
I recommend replacing with crimp-on terminals.

Yeah,
Id prefer to use crimp on - I guess I was going more for originality.
But lets face it - Originality isnt as important as functionality in this case!

I guess i was operating under the presumption you left a picture out of your post. Some understood tho lol

I totally forgot to test this out. It seemed to do a decent job of ramming the wire into the metal. I slipped and impacted my finger to boot! I think the blood can be seen on one of the pics, lol

I used the side of the 110 bit without the knife (good thing too as it would have probably hit my finger bone!

For reference, this is the 66 type bit without the knife

Why are we discussing how to attach wires to IDC's? We should be discussing the best way to chop them off and THROW THEM AWAY.

The most unreliable connector ever used in arcade gaming.

If, for some incomprehensible reason, one must re-use an IDC connector rather than yanking the pins and replacing with crimp-on terminals....

The proper tools are sold on the GPE website. Not sure if the OP is interested in 0.100" or 0.156" pitch, but Ed has both tools available:

Yeah,
Not sure now. Originally I was going for originality, but it kinda dawned on me after reading - sometimes original isnt better! Working might outweigh that!!
LOL!
Thanks to all for the research tho!
