What do Tron machines in decent condition go for? I'm talking about a working game in average condition.

Also, the movie Tron Legacy is due to come out in 2010. Do you think Tron games selling then will go for more or less than now? Your first reaction might be "more" because more people will be reminded about the original movie and game and be interesting in buying a game, but another thought is that more people will be putting their games up for sale in trying to capitalize on the new movie and the some bargains might pop up. What do you think?

Prices will go up, they always do when a movie comes out.

Then give it a few more years after that and the prices go way down. Have you seen a Hulk or Spiderman Gottlieb pin for sale lately. They were going for thousands when the movies came out, now buyers remorse is setting in.

Of course Tron doesn't suck, and it beat the movie in profits.

Dang I want a Tron "Cheap" real bad.

the thing with tron, you rarely find a nice one. The artwork is almost always so-so shape, and it's a very expensive restoration. Mine is tore apart in milk crates, and the cabinet is repaired and in primer. I have no clue when i will have 535.00 for an artwork package.

Figure on around at least $400 for an average one and $800 for a really nice one.

Just curious, when/where did you see a working Tron sell for $400? If that was on craigslist, I'm guessing it sold in about 30 seconds.

100 million dollars!!!!!!

$400 for a working Tron is not a steal. Tron has not been 'worth' $1000 in years.

Whomever said $400-$800 (average to mint) is about right

I want to get back to that 7 piece tron artwork set.
Has anyone used or seen it? How's the quality if so?

Got my TRON for $400 and was dead but looked very nice.

It played blinded. The problem: the video cable was plugged into the wrong part of the PCB. NICE!
So I was thrilled to get a TRON for $400. It's also very popular when I have parties and get played quite
a lot.

A working but average Tron, not restored?

eBay BIN/BO $500 -- Local $300 -- KLOV buyer $90

$75.00 Tron

I gave DPTwiz an extra that I got working for $75.00. :) The cabinet was excellent except for one slightly busted corner. I started to do a resto on it, which is why his is in milk crates. But Still worth $75.00

I paid $25 for mine. Repaired the power supply and it works great.
With artwork (didn't need it all) and new joystick shells (thanks GGG)
I'll have around $350 for a beautiful Tron.

I finally just bought a nice one after trying to restore a couple. Original art and Phoenix Arcade Plastics is sweetness. It cost me a bit more but now I have a keeper TRON forever :)
