Hello there
I'm willing to play a game I had but I can't remember the name and couldn't find it anywhere. Google, retro gaming sites, platforms specific sites, nobody seems to know it :/

It was on a small game console I won in a magazine, but it wasn't made specifically for that console, there were other games and they were not. You know it was that kind of cheap console with a few old games on it. In case anyone had the same, it also contained a game called Magic Madness (for the C64, but I'm not sure that game I'm looking for was also for the c64), and another one with a sort of eskimo messing around on ice platforms.

As far as I remember, it was an arcade game with maybe two screens (not scrolling), in which you play an adventurer in a jungle and you have to capture animals. I think there were things like lions and monkeys, I don't remember for sure. But you had to figure out a way to make them enter a cage and close it at the very moment they were inside.

That's all I remember, I hope someone will see what I'm talking about. No game sites had a game with that description, so I guess it's a hard one :p
Thanks !

Thanks for answering, but this is not the game I had in mind. The gameplay was different, you could just move around, jump, and close each cage when something's in it.
It's not Jungle Hunt / Jungle King either.

Thanks anyway, I'm still putting a lot of effort in finding this game but apparently it was something rare.

ah sorry but it's not that game either. I'm pretty sure I was playing as human. I remember animals running left and right and you had to lock them while they were in the cage and be careful not to touch them. I'm not sure but I think you could also kill them by making a rock fall on them.

Thanks again for trying to help me, much appreciated :)

Do you know if this was ever available as a coin-operated arcade game? Or was it only on that console you had?

I'm not sure it was available as a coin-operated game, but I'm sure it wasn't only on that console. It was a cheap thing I think they just put some cheap abandoned games on it, and I found the original version of one of these games.

Assuming these were NOT arcades, but were consoles:

The Eskimo game could have been Frostbite - by Activision...

Nop, it's not pitfall.
And that eskimo game wasn't any of these either but it's ok, I'm not looking for this one.

Understood, but knowing one game might lead to the other, if they were both on the same console.

Perhaps if you figured out which console it was, you could figure out the game based on what games could be played on it:

What country are you in. That can also make a big difference considering the systems like ZX never made it to the US and there was a lot of games made for that system that had multiple variations of the system.
