That was a nice haul there endofline. The best I got was 4 for a dollar one time, but they weren't anything special... had a couple working boards in them though.
As for the 100k comment, if someone bought that many games, they were also almost certainly selling a ton of games. They may have also been buying back their own games for not getting the desired prices (costs them $16 per buyback regardless of ending price). At the end of the auction, the buyers pay, then the auctioneers tally up how much the sellers earned. If you bought games and sold games, they will deduct the amount that you sold from the amount that you owe. So, say they bought $100k worth of games, but were selling 50 games that averaged selling for $300 each, and bought back 10 games that didn't sell for high enough. So, they'd have to pay 100000-15000(total sold)+160(buybacks)+480(entry fees)+1125(commission [assuming they have an amoa membership]) so, he would owe $86,765 for his haul. Of course, there is a high probability that they would sell more high priced games with a commission cap of $100 if they were willing to spend so much at an auction. If you sell enough machines, and/or sell often enough, I'm pretty sure you get some VIP treatment. Otherwise, those junk project cabs would never show up at auctions due to the entry fee costing more than they would sell for.
