What's the most you have paid for a game????

$1250 shipped for my Juno First..

Next up would be Star Wars UR $600 + $200 in trade goods.

Most are $200-$500

The most I've paid has been $500, which was for my Mortal Kombat II. I de-converted it from an Ultimate MK3 so I made a little bit back from selling the PCB and marquee. A very close second would be my Star Wars upright that set me back $486 by the time I paid a little extra for delivery.

Just paid $600 for a decent Neo Geo MVS-4 v2 with eight games:

Bust a Move
Bust a Move Again
Ninja Combat
King of Fighters 98
Baseball Stars Professional
Super Sidekicks 2
Samurai Shodown
Riding Hero (import)

... and the marquee panels work!

Next highest: I'm pretty sure I paid $400 for my Super Sprint.

Is $1200 the going rate for a Juno First?

JJ

Not sure.. I havent seen one for sale other then the one I bought.
Had to buy it from a dealer to get one.

They seem to be pretty rare. Only 15 dedicated machines registered
in VAPS. I see you have one.

The trick is finding a member of the KLOV Price Police to negotiate the deal from $300.00 to $50.00 delivered. :D

I've got a feeling that there are some people on here can convince some "overpriced" sellers to PAY them to take stuff off their hands...

To answer the question about the Major Havoc, I bought it several years back from "FatChuck" in southern California. It is MINTY, not unlike some of the laser games that he has restored and put up for sale on here not too long ago. If you do a search, you will be able to see some images of his restoration work...

$2400 for a South Park pin.

Or $550 for a Star Wars upright. Seconded closely by $450 for my Robot Monsters machine.

I actually traded a pinball machine I paid $450 for plus some cash to get 720, and had it brought by a HAAG member for a small fee, so that is up there around $650-700 I guess.

Yeah, I have a super nice one. Another local KLOVer has one also. Not sure if registered or not. I was wondering what these might bring.

Straight money:

After buyer's fees and insane aggravation Killer Instinct $800.00.

It was in gorgeous shape just needed to new joysticks (did the buttons while I was at it), and I put an unused NOS marquee in it. It is about perfect. Also the emotional attachment of, I was the first person to play it when it arrived in that arcade. The owner's daughter and I played the first game when it arrived...I took Cinder she took Glacier...she lost real bad.

The other being My SHowcase Golden Tee Complete. I want to say $900.00 and I traded a Wrestle Fest conversion and a Superstars board and some cash, but I got it delivered and that was no small feet.

I thought about this again and I think my Mame cabs are probably my most expensive vids since I had to buy the cabinet itself, computer, ArcadeVGA cards, jpacs, etc.

I didn't keep a running total on those but they were fairly spendy. But well worth it.

Yeah, I wasn't counting the MAME cab either. I think I probably have more into that than all of the others combined. It has been updated often over the last 8 years, and is definitely a money pit. I would guess I have $3000 - $5000 into it so far. Most of the parts can be used for other projects and games, so it is hard to get an accurate count. The cab I was using is currently waiting to become a Max Hangtime, so it doesn't even have a cab now until I get around to building a custom one. As a side benefit, I have controllers for most games I would ever want to own, so if I buy new games, I always have parts. :)

Holy cow. I never spent that kind of money on mine. I'm guessing I have maybe 7 or 8 hundred in each one. I'm really liking the simplicity of the ArcadeSD board for my third though.
