What's the lifespan of somebody staying in the hobby?

been in the hobby about 25 years. I keep thinking I will find something else I want to do and sell the games to finance it. Can't seem to find anything else I want to do...........................................

I can stop any time I want............

Yeah, me too. I only do it to look cool....

Owning a coin op video game was a life long dream. I bought my first game in 2003 and I went big with a Star Wars cockpit. Oh man! Sadly I had to sell it in the crash of '09. But I kept something like 10-12 games. And while I still haven't replaced the cockpit, I'm up to about 30 games +/- a few.

What bothers me is I can't decide if I like the hobby enough to stay in long term. But either way it sure makes me popular with the ladies!

Chris is definitely the cat in the hat. It's an official Indiana Jones hat, if anyone has ever wondered.

It's definitely legit, and I hear he has impressive bull whip skills.

I do indeed have a 10' kangaroo hide bullwhip. And a fedora. I don't know about any impressive skills though. :ROFLMAO:
Here's the legit proof...

A little less grainy that my KLOV avatar:

Place of honor, on the mantle in the arcade:

And just for grins....a time traveling archaeologist.
(Car is not mine. But I did drive it backward for about 10 feet.)

Holy shit dude, I thought you were only donning the hat, whip and jacket.... I didn't realize that was the whole ensemble down to the f-ing Zippo. Maybe you made that distinction, but it was Halloween, at least 9PM, and I may have had one or more refreshments of intoxication. For the record, you did offer to put on a bullwhip exposition... should I be glad I didn't encourage you? (and for those of you at home, I have only seen him without the Fedora because it looks weird on the baseball field..... he might have been wearing it in the dugout.)

Oh hellz yeah! It's the full rig! I need a better, more screen accurate machete, but at least it's period correct! That thing's like 90 years old.

It's true, I'm rarely seen without the hat. I have in fact worn it in the dugout. :ROFLMAO:
But it's not as out of place as you might think.
