well one difference I can tell with the one with no daughter card is the sounds the snakes make when they are chasing you on the 2nd screen. it's lighter with less bass to it.

wonder if my high score/free play will work on this board?

It seems like this same board requires you to use the dipswitches to set difficulty, etc. where the board with the daughter card allows you to do the settings with the test mode. I need to go prove that again though.

I can clearly see Sega on the other one but not the 2nd pic.

I just wrapped it back up so I can't check now. I think I saw sega, though I am not sure.

There is a zaxxon pcb that looks just like it though on crazykong so I don't think it's a bootleg. It does play a fraction slower I have noticed, with the same difficulty settings.

I know the stern pcb's from scramble and other other games look the same but you can see who makes the game on the side of it and the rom chips.

Or the board will be completely the wrong color.
 
yeah, I don't know. I am glad to have a back up pcb that is working.
