What's the deal with Jumping Jack?

1 - Was this released as a dedicated machine or only as a conversion for other Universal games?

2 - It's not on Twin Galaxies list of arcade games I can submit a score to.

3 - Looking at the KLOV flyer, the back of the flyer looks totally different than the actual game! They must have changed it. I wonder if that version exists to play somewhere? The screens are different and there's a raft at the top of the screen. It also makes mention on the flyer about reaching the raft, but that's not in the game.

4 - My friend has never heard of the game, as probably a lot of people, because I don't think I've ever seen it in an arcade. Only found it through MAME.

5 - I really enjoy the game and I've got the #4 score on Twin Galaxies on MAME. I can do better and will have #1 soon, but I wish there was an actual arcade version I could claim #1 on.'

I'd have asked these over there as well, but I can't remember my password to the forums, it won't email me the reset thing, and my email to them so far is unanswered.

Love the game. Been trying to find any boardset or artwork for it.

I've only played it on the 60-in-1, but I'll bet I could beat that #1 score if I tried. I've gotten close to 200K before, but wasn't trying very hard...

I have an original board (lucky eBay purchase from years back, IIRC listed as "unknown Universal board" :) )

Uses MrDo standard universal pinout. 60-in-1 version is pretty close, original board is of course better for gameplay.

GREAT game, my wife loves it (she also really likes Pac+Pal, another strange game most people don't know or care for).

Good find. Out of rare games I'd want to own this and Beavis and Butt-head.

Has a ROM ever been released of Beavis and Butt-head?

Does your board for Jumping Jack differ from the one I usually play in MAME?

Can you post a pic of it? I have a pile of old Univeral boards.
