I dont know how many you guys go to the dentist but everyone I have been to always have arcade games. There is a guy in my home town in Alabama that has a entire room just for arcade games and all set to free play. There is also another one about 40 miles form there with arcade games in the lobby and my mom knows of another one with arcade games in the dentist office. These offices are not associated with each other in any way. Has anyone else seen arcade games in dentist offices?

I think Jow's dentist had an Elevator Action, if I remember correctly.

Any dentist that has an EA has to be a good dentist.

My buddy got a DUO Donkey Kong It was so clean.....The power supply fried and It sat for years until him and I picked It up a few months back..

as far as why they have 'em, probably to make the patients relax, especially kids. one of the most freaky places i could think of for a lot of people.

The two pediatric dentists I have taken my kids to have games.
The one had a Star Wars Episode 1 pinball, a DK jr and a fighting game.
The other has an old WWF game (Big Boss Man, Hulk, Macho Man) and a Super Pac.
Most kids hate going to the dentist, my kids love it!

A friend of mine here in my town is a dentist, and he has games in his lobby. He collects mini's and has 6 of them in the lobby, and then about 10 more in extra rooms. All set or freeplay. The techs are always playing them when they dont have a patient in the building. He is a dentist that isnt affiliated with others so its just his usual clients that he sees so there is alot of downtime between patients. He has a room with ones that he works on when he has nothing else to do. He enjoys working on them more than playing them, so with me living less than a mile from his office he knows that i am always working on something so if he has a couple hours between patients he drives over to my house and works with me,

Where's Jedidentist? We'll get this straight from the horses mouth...

To answer the op's question, I've had two different dentists in my lifetime, and neither has arcade games. :(

None of my dentists ever had games, but my Bump N Jump upright reportedly came from a dentist's office. It has a free play button installed between the coin slots, and a helpful sticker that says "FREE".

But not helpful enough... there was about $28.00 in quarters rolling around the bottom of the cab when I brought it home!

I have never heard of this phenomenon. Of course, my parents never took me to the dentist. Thanks Mom and Dad. :(

Mine (and I was going to get around to posting about it after being in there last week) has a 4 player Bucky O'Haire with what looks like credit buttons under the cp, cp and marquee art intact, but as far as I know, it hasn't worked in years. I may have to try to talk them out of it and somehow find space...or maybe help get it running again.

we have sold many games to many different dentist in the area over the years.
They always want the classics so now we sell them multicades.
