What's the crappiest game you've ever played?

Zaxxon! Bought one without having played it before and couldnt wait to sell it about 30min after I bought it.

...

wtf? Sinistar is great..

Mystic Marathon, Splat!, Warp Warp, Lazarian,.

I can see why people hate Kangaroo, but I still enjoy it a little.

Other than the horrible Sun flashing sprites that made you want to look inside the machine for an Atari 2600, I think what killed Kangaroo is the lack of a jump button.

Using the stick to jump is an awful idea, and they probably just did that to make the conversion process easier.

Sinistar, wtf??? I guess to each their own.

For me it was Dragon's Lair. Waiting in line and then paying 50 cents for that. Granted the animation is ok, but once you learn the patterns the game is a great disappointment.

Yeah I like Sinistar too.

I hate Donkey Kong and anything Mario Brothers...

Yep I've said it, now throw your rocks I'm not afraid :)

Dragons Lair.

I realize that may be contentious, but never did I feel so fleeced out of 50 cents as when I played that. Laser games in general are a low point of the industry for me, the only ones I like are Firefox and MACH III.

This one came to mind for me too actually. I think it's a very cool game, and would even like to own one someday, but the game CONTROLS are what I thought were crappy. Not very accurate.

i tried every working laser disc game at Funspot this summer and the only one i could stand was Us. Vs. Them. Astron Belt and Cliff Hanger were particularly heinous.

also sucky are Time Traveler and Jump Bug.

I have a Time Pilot that is a converted Centuri Round Up cabinet. I thought I might convert it back to a Round Up, but I never heard of it BITD- so I went to play it in MAME. It sucks so much ass. A Time Pilot it will stay! Round Up gets my vote.

Since the list of these crappy games seems to be growing exponentially, you have to ask, what the hell kinda QA was done on these games during the development phase, if any? Or, were their developers simply under the premise of designing a cool cab with a sexy marquee and attract mode, knowing that if a player hated the game they would never actually ask for a refund?
