What's The COOLEST THING In Your Arcade - KLOV POLL

What's the COOLEST THING in your arcade, past or present?

And since that's such a COOL question, here's another one:

What' the second COOLEST THING in your arcade?

And by COOLEST, I mean, what do all the people who come to your Arcade think are the COOLEST?

:D:D:D

I think Q*bert may qualify as the hottest and coolest game. :p

I dunno though... probably Haunted House pin (even today it's still a neat concept) or Ice Cold Beer. :D

I would think people would say, tron, DOT, and tron LE pinball.

I would say TZ or spiderman(HUO) pinball. My favorite pins. Along with tron LE, I would never get rid of them.

my friends say the coolest thing about your arcade is that i do not have a arcade.

89 games and growing but no arcade:(

i own them all but cannot play them:(

Peace

That would probably have to be my gameroom floor.

2nd runner up would be my change machine. Everyone thinks it's cool that they can just push the button and get 4 quarters.

Besides the games? Hmmmmmm.......

There are 2 things people tend to comment on the most. The first is the small collage of pinball scratch off lottery tickets that a friend gave me:

It is the coolest to me because 1) it is different and 2) someone tool the time to make it for me.

Second coolest (or most commented) item is the autographed Weird Al picture I have.

Those 2 items get the most reaction from visitors. Not sure why, but they do.

It all depends on age groups...

Guys over 50 drool over the pinball machines in general. They seem drawn to the woodrail games.

Guys and gals in their 40's are drawn to the classics. Centipede it the clear winner here though Sea Wolf II is also asked about constantly despite it not working.

Guys and gals in their 30's are just in awe of the games in general. They do love my huge Street Fighter neon light, I really need to get that back...

Collectors generally like the odd stuff they have heard of but rarely/never seen - Zeke's Peak, Holloseum, etc.

To answer the original question, the clear winner right now is the 6 player X-Men cab. Number two is Marble Madness.

SS and Sign

Most people instantly go nuts over my Silent Scope dedicated cab.
Second they go nuts over my workbench.

I go nuts over the tile work mosaic sign my wife made.

Still setting up the new gameroom so I don't know yet..:D

But so far I've gotten some really great looks at my UV chip epoxy floor..especially since its 1500 square feet of black light heaven..not counting the additional 300 square feet in back where my storage and work bench are located...

I need to see some pics of that.

#1 - Zeke's Peak (everyone's curious about how to play it)
#2 - Frogger (kids + ladies will play that one, as well as the guys)

for me it would be my custom asteroids deluxe drawing

It all depends on the crowd.

When I had a Simpsons, that usually got a lot of action. When there are kids, the 1000 Mile Rally and the Wii (don't ask).

Some crowds gravitate to the pachinko machines (StarWars, Lord of the Rings and IndianaJones). Some just want to play the 48n1. And in the summer, it is the pool.
