Looking at buying a Killer Instinct 2 and Space Gun. The Killer Instinct 2 is a conversion in an original Killer Instinct cabinet. Still has KI1 sideart and everything.

It has a non-working monitor, so I'm wondering, what would it be worth in its condition?

Also, is Space Gun a desirable game at all? Could I even re-sale that thing?

I'm not looking to make money, just not lose money.

Thanks!

I would consider the Space Gun a $100 game. Not very collectible as far as I am concerned. Kind of a cool game but don't know anybody looking for it. Had one at one time. Think Raven has/had it now. The KI should go for about $350 in that shape if the art is good and monitor just needs fixing. KI cabs are pretty desirable here in TX. They sell for $650 or so working and I know others that have gotten more for them. Personally, I'd offer $300 for both and see what response you get.

No clue on the Space Gun, but the KI2 kit is worth a couple hundred alone. The original KI cabinet is more desireable as many of them got converted. I'd say in that shape you could get $350 to the right person, probably $500 to the right person if working.

Nope, haven't had that one.

I used to have Space Gun, bought it off a local guy for $310. It took up a lot of space & scared many of the kids that tried it. It didn't really have the "fun" factor of other gun games either. With these reasons (and also seeing the same ones over and over on eBay & not selling), I imagine most people don't really care about these machines, shame really, pretty cool looking cabinet. I ended up re-selling mine for the same price I paid, $310.

If the KI2 pcb is a KI 1 pcb with the conversion kit its worth alot more. It would be worth changing it back to a KI 1 if your selling it. If its a dedicated KI2 board you cant run KI 1 on it. You can tell with a quick look at the pcb. If it has a small pcb between the ribbon cable and main board then its a KI 1 board.
A dedicated KI 1 machine will bring $100-$200 more than a KI 2 and will sell much faster.
