I am in a pending trade status with another gameholder, and for what ever reason the stars are not aligning for our schedules to match up. Neither one of us are stressed about it, because we know it will eventually take place. But I'm guessing this pending trade has been running for at least a month now.

What has been your longest pending trade for a game? Did it get ugly? Did the person almost change their mind? Did anyone bail? Share with the class.

I'm having a game delivered to CAX that I bought and paid for in January, does that count? 1 month?!?! Seriously?;)

Not quite the same thing but i sold a local collector my Scared Stiff pin...he paid for it and picked it up over a year and a half later.

I even had a move in there

what game did you get andy? or is it a secret? :)

personally, i hate pending deals. i always get nervous the other party is gonna back out or reneg, so i prefer to get deals done and over with.

I picked up a game in June of 2008. Mentioned here that I was getting it, going to fix it up, then sell it. Had a "newbie"-type member contact me via PM with "I WANT IT", offered a good upper-end price to "take it off the market". I agreed, did the work - then waited. Repeated contacts asking for payment and shipping to be set up. "I'll get it done right away". In October 2008 I was sent a check via certified mail. It cashed just fine. Repeated contacts for shipping to be set up. "I'll take care of it this weekend." Last heard from around Easter 2009. In June 2010 I get an e-mail out of the blue from the guy's secretary asking why this hasn't been resolved yet and wants either the game or the money back. I tell her I have the game, and how I've repeatedly asked for them to set up the shipping. Three days later, NAVL shows up and picks it up. Never heard from them again...
