Found a super nice dedicated Space Duel that works 100%.

Not too familiar with this game, so I wanted to see what they typically get for on price

How's the overall game play?

Thanks everyone.

Space Duel is a fantastic game, usually see them go for ~$600 up to $1000 for clean examples. Depends on location.

how did you find that!?!?! i'm on 20-30 facebook arcade groups, local and beyond,
i check 4+ states (michigan, ohio indiana, illinois, and beyond) daily, like 20-50 times
refreshes, and ebay local like 10-20x daily. and yet no space duel has even come up
in all my efforts.

a working space duel is easily worth $500 to $1000 and beyond! I'd instantly drop
my life and xmas gifts for family if that game was priced at $500 cash & carry!!!

i mean, THE WHO.... SPACE DUEL.. .epic game. it's one not to pass up at any cost!!!

if you don't find a space duel thats not an 8+, your not looking very hard.

I agree, its a great game! space duel > asteroids deluxe > asteroids > blasteroids. But its worth more for its parts/cabinet than it is for its game. It pretty much has a minimum value of $500 working as its parts are worth more than that. I think the top end for it is about $1k.

Color vector.

Nuff said.

:D

This thread may give you an idea what it's worth.

normal tempest screen burn with light phosphor burn thru in the center and missing the hv screen for $500 and it sold easy in under 4 hours...

SD is under-rated. (Best played with a friend in co-op mode)
If you find one, you should not be posting that you did and ask questions.
You should be posting that it's either in the back of your truck or sitting in your basement beside its brethren. :001_scool:

VC is right on this one. If you really want to to know, the correct form of the question is "Did I overpay?" :)

In my neck of the woods, a grand is not enough to guarantee that you get it. On the other hand, there are a few around if you don't mind that they're missing monitor and PCB.

Zennmaster is right on this one. ;)
(A few years from now, the answer will be "no").

Found mine ealier this year, 100% intact, 8/10, face down in the trash in front of someones house, which it was there for 3 days. Plays blind. I bought a cap kit for it..never got around to installing it yet.

A passer-byer took a pic and posted it on craigslist.."hey..this game is in the trash..etc..etc."

It was an hour away from me.

It still amazes me...im still in awe that , one, it didn't rain in those 3 days, two, it was put out a day after trash pick up and i got it the day before the next trash pick up, three, the ad was up for 8 hrs by the time i seen it, four, it played blind, and five, the insanely great condition it is in.
