In above average condition.
Any thoughts are helpful (Except from Ballynipple or whatever that name is)...

Might depend on location, but I've seen "above average" ones move at $6K pretty easily around here.. condition is key though. Decal condition and peeling around the legs, drac wear, insert wear, and kick-out hole are the main offenders.

I own a pretty nice MB, and it's the lowest serial # I've seen anywhere (#20), and I wouldn't let mine go for anything less than $6K.. but I'd start higher :)

Here's mine :

Nice line up! (like you didn't already know...)

$6k is what you think an above average condition MB is worth then?

Nice line up indeed!
With apologies to the OP, if you are considering selling your MB, I'd be interested.

I love these threads.

"Oh I own one and it's the greatest X ever, I would never let it go for less than $X." (Read : Maybe if I hype what I own, then I'll feel better about myself and increase it's perceived value.)

If value was gauged by these threads and by owners, then yeah, every DMD pin is worth probably $8-10K. (MM, AFM, CV, now MB). It's simply ridiculous. I know plenty of people who own every one of those pins, and not one of them paid anywhere close to that for any of them, more like one-third to half those "values".

Actual selling price of this game? Average : $4100. Now everyone STFU :D

Everyone on this thread said about 5k -6k for a average condition mb. (I personally saw a mb sold two weeks ago here for 5.5k in average (with massive cabinet wear issues and it was one of lorenzos...).

So to clarify, you know multiple collectors that have purchased mb for 2k? You sure about that?

Whatever. I just bought mine, so I was in the market and saw what they were selling for. I don't care nor need to hype anything I own, I could really give a &$*# what anyone thinks. Don't plan on selling soon either. The real test is finding one for the price you THINK it's worth.. and I thought I could get one for $4100 at one time.. but unless the seller is out of touch, it's never going to happen.

One sold for $6K just north of me within 24 hours of posting, and it was in nice, unrestored condition, but in no way perfect.

Another one in rough condition sold for $5K, but that's only because the seller listed it too low... it moved within 30 minutes, and the guy that has it now won't let it go for less than $5800.

And one just sold a few weeks ago for $5500 and it needed some work (decals for one). Lasted 2 days I think.

My price is based on real sales and what I saw when trying to buy one.

The fact that someone can sell a game for $6,000, doesn't mean it can't be bought for $4,500....

Oops, my bad. This year's charts are showing a slight upswing to $4399 :p

http://www.bostonpinball.biz/ebay0511.htm

Real world numbers and such and whatnot, blahblahblah and some other things. Thanks for playing :)

That list also shows that Attack From Mars sells for $3600 and Medieval Madness' for $6500.

I haven't seen those prices for routed examples of those titles in years.

But you could get lucky, you never know. I see lots of of them sell on craigslist for less than that. lol.

IIRC a member here picked up a mb with some other pins in a bulk buy for $4,000 a while back. deals still happen from time to time. you just have to keep looking.
