I have a small station setup in the garage for testing my collection of PCB's and have had a few issues with the med res games not booting on my current setup. I'm thinking the power supply I have is too weak and not supplying the correct amount of power to these newer & larger PCB's. What do you guy advise I should change to to be able to handle just about any board to test ?
Thanks
Chris

I have never had any issues with switchers for classic games, but have also never tried games newer than SF2, MK2, Rampage - World, etc. on it. My switcher is modified to have a remote voltage adjustment pot so I can do it from the front or side of the game (where the PCB is). It just makes things easier for finicky games (Gallag, etc.).
