I have a Tetris Pcb and I was wondering what would be a nice cab to put this in. I want make it look as dedicated as possible. Which cabs do they look good in. Thanks

How about this one? :D

Dynamo HS-1 or one of the similar looking Atari cabinets (Centipede, Dig Dug, etc.) The Dynamo HS-1 is "safe" though. With Atari cabinets you may be disturbing a classic (that is; if you're concerned about such things).

I wouldn't dedicate an upright machine to a puzzle game if it were me though; they seem to belong in cocktail and bartop machines.

A Rally-X cabaret or a Nintendo cabaret would be nice. Or an Atari or Nintendo cocktail.

I always thought they looked good in Donkey Kong cabinets.

What about the Tetris cabarets - were they dedicated?

Wasn't it the same mini cab used for Klax?

I looked up ataris production numbers and your correct, atari made 171 cabaret tetris and 5,600 kits. Never noticed a cabaret tetris, but your probably correct in that they would use the klax cab... They made 500 cabaret klax..

The coolest looking Tetris I ever played was a jammatized Omega Race upright. The cabinet still used the mirror and the O.R. backdrop and blacklight.

It appeared as if the Tetris bricks were dropping from outer space!

Off-topic: are there production numbers in there for Asteroids cabarets?

Just because there are pics of them in the database doesn't mean they're dedicated. The first cocktail on there is a Joust.

It sure looks like it...except for the coin door. Maybe it was replaced.

I have to agree with you here - Tetris just feels like a smaller game to me, and my preference would be for a smaller cab.

Totally...

...but this sounds pretty cool!

Yes, Atari made dedicated cabarets for both Tetris and KLAX and the pics are below. Those were truly great little cabaret cabinets!
