Complete working with all art, what would you pay? Is it rare/sought after?

If you do buy it. Wanna scan the side art for us without?

I purchased decent complete working machine for 250.00...pretty rare game...but the price is pretty low unless you find one that doesn't have faded sideart which all the ones I've see have..:D

Someone did do a small run supposedly of all the art...but I don't know what happened to it...

I was shocked seeing the one on here recently sit around. It's a great, underrated game that is difficult to find.

I may never find one. I have plans to convert a crappy Gyruss into one someday...

It pretty much depends on how much someone wants the game,so it's very subjective.I could give a crap about Circus Charlie,so I wouldn't buy it for much,if at all.But for someone who really loves that game, they'll most likely be more than eager to open up the wallet if they have to.And it seems like for the most part being rare doesn't affect the value of a game that much.

Well, if I was rich, I'd have one by now. The only ones I ever see are expensive ($400-800 or more) and always across the country.

I have the board, scans of the artwork for a future repro project, and even a Circus Charlie clock.

Here's my high score so far...

Nice score. What is your board settings on? TG settings? I can get around 398,000 or so. I need to go back to enjoying my games instead of fixing them all the time. The Hanatax monitor was kind of giving me fits, but I think I got that under control now..

Circus Charlie is an underrated game. But very fun and challenging. I enjoy playing mine a lot. I'm really not sure how people can get 999,990 points as listed on TG. If there is a trick or if they are really that good and dedicated.....The evil dolphin level gets me a lot. lol....

I'm at about 500k. I have a good friend who is closing to maxxing it out. He is in the 775k range.

Wow, that's a pretty impressive score, TG settings right?. Have you submitted anything to TG on this game yet? That would be cool. You'd be on the first page at least.

It must be dedication if your friend is closing the 999,990 score, as I don't think that there is a trick to that game. I realize that it's probably not all that hard once you get the memorization down. But it's still pretty challenging to play.

I have mine set to TG settings. I'd prefer they had it a bit different for the different ROM versions (some allow level select from the beginning, and others require you to go thru all 6 levels before allowing level select). Not that the first levels of each are very hard, but it does allow someone to keep repeating the rings to get all their extra free guys early. Eventually I'll memorize all those damn dolphin levels and then I can really pump the score up.

Haven't bothered submitting scores. Maybe if I max out, but as the best I can do is tie with 5 other people, it hasn't been something I've worried about.

I need to start playing again. Been over a year since I put that board in my Gyruss...

I have not submitted any scores for it. Maybe I will at the Funspot tourney this year, I play it in MAME currently with level select on. As Mod mentions you can rack up a ton of points/free men before being forced to play the trapeze boards.

Trapeze levels aren't that hard. The bigger problems for me are the Dolphins/Knife Throwers in the later levels, the Trampolines in the later levels, and the Tightrope in the later levels...
