Wikipedia says these are rare, Exidy doesn't have a price, I would like to see pix of yer dedicated Bosconian cabs and how much are they worth and did they ever make a cocktail?

who wants to trade

Thanks, this just made my wishlist.

Dedicated original Pac Man cocktail- will trade for Bosconian cocktail !

I can't say what they are worth but I paid $175 for mine working. It needed a monitor rebuild, cab was in great shape though.

Seem to be showing up here at around the $300 mark.

I don't like the button only on left side feature of the Midway cocktails, I can't play that way. Great game though.

I've been looking for a Bosconian for quite a while. I suppose it'd be easy enough to put one together if I picked up the main board and ps. I've looked hi and low and at least around this neck of the woods, it's hard to come by.

I want one

It says on wikipedia that the reason why they are so hard to come by is that so many of them were converted to something else. But what?

Galaga.....

+1 GALAGA. When I finally decide to pick up a Galaga, it will be the conversion, I just think the white cab is cool. And I like your way of thinking, I'd swap a Pac-Man cocktail for a Bosconian CT any day, you don't see too many of the Bosconian's (in general) and there are tons of pacs. Good luck on your search!

I loved this game bitd and would always play it when I saw it. After playing Sinistar a few times I appreciated it even more as my quarter would last much longer on Bosconian :001_scool:.

....

I dont know why I dont have it on my site, ill have to add it later.

Ive sold several Bosconians, both uprights and cocktail.
I would price the uprights at $350+-, but cocktails a little less.

Cool game!

Jon

Hell, at under 350 I'd be interested in a Bosco cocktail.....may have to start asking around after I get Stargate pin gone... :p

infidel?

I found this:

wow, thanks! I own an empty Japanese cocktail cab that looks identical to this, maybe I should build it as a Bosconian.

But it has a small plate on it that says Sega, would I be committing blasphemy?

i bought mine in uk for £200,i think i paid the guy a little more £220,so he would be more than happy with what he got and wouldnt back out of the deal.

it had no back door, the bottom was water damaged and i mean WATER DAMAGED,it was about a ft from the bottom that was real bad,the boottom and rear lower panel was dropping off it was that bad.

i tried to replace some of the cab but not the bottom of the sides, every time i went to play the cab it was horrible to look at it,so i took the dive and just knocked the panels apart and routered out a new cab.

only cost me £90ish for all the materials.

bad point is i lost the art,i now have a nicer boosconian cab but no art,i did keep a part of the side where art was as it was nicer than the other sides, for reproduction reasons.the front lower kick plate art was a goner,it was cracked to s**t.

the pic shows it after i had put tmost of the cab back together,it just needs a replacement marquee light now and perhaps a better back door than the one i cut.

i am probably 1 of not many people who also owns a bosconian/galaga conversion,i imported it from germany,it was a us import to germany also,it is factory converted but sadl its in need of either a tube as the one in it was necked when i got it or a replacement monitor and the glass art bezel other wise its all there and working.
:)
