I have a really nice Gorf that I'm thinking about putting up for sale... I its in really in good working order... it has a completely rebuilt power supply, changed all of the illumination to leds (look great in the joystick!). I've a new CPO from TOG and the artwork is good except for one part where the blue has been worn off. Marquee and lower plastic artwork are in near perfect shape. Cabinet has zero damage around the base and is very clean, coin door is just about perfect... the only thing on the machine that is kind of crappy is the upper rear door... I don't think it was the original door for the machine.

I got this as a 'project cab' from dns last spring... thought I wanted a Gorf... but it isn't getting the love.

I guess it's worth what someone will pay, yet I wouldn't let that go for less than $400, probably more. Cosmetically nice, it's worth something.

Sure... I also rebuilt the G07 and re-tubed it so the monitor is like new... I would consider trading it for a nice and I mean nice missile command.

Why not? I think it's fun having 5 different games in one session.

To each his own. I didn't know too many people that liked it either. Maybe someone should start a "why don't you like Gorf" thread.

I don't know... I really feel bad about it too. The cab itself is half of the fun of the game... never mind all of the different levels, and the voices. You're restore actually got me into the hunt for the thing...

I don't get it, its just how it is, I'll probably miss it when its gone... but there are a few other games on my must have list that I would like to get... missile command and pole position are at the top at the moment and I know there are some people out there that are huge Gorf fans so maybe something will work out.

Gorf's are priceless...LOL Yeah, $400 minimum. It all depends on how enthused the potential buyer's market is.

People don't like Gorf because its too hard....

yeah, i've seen 'em go pretty cheap and sell for quite a bit. it's an odd title that seems to have prices all over the map.

personally, i'd value a decent condition fully working Gorf at no less than $350-$400, and of course more if it has any restoration parts like a This Old Game CPO or is in very nice shape.

Its worth what people are willing to pay. You said its not getting love, so why not take cash for it?

Certainly... yes its going to be sold or traded... that is for sure... however if I can't get more than 250 for it then I would hold on to it for now... I've put more than that into it.... just curios as what people think.

I've seen many unrestored Gorf's in my area go for $300. I would set that as the minimum and increase it from there based on condition. The TOG panel adds significant value in my opinion.

I'm going with 625. I think that is fair... maybe more than what some would pay but the machine is in really good original condition... I do have the TOG CPO and its a really clean machine overall (no bumps or dings in it... the lower part is mint)... and since the monitor is rebuilt and re-tubed its essentially new.

I traded 2 complete nonworking project Gorf's for a Black Knight pin with a very worn playfield, a Contact wide body pinball, a working arkanoid and $150 cash. To a member on here. I guess they are becoming worth something.
Here are some pics of them, both about the same shape.
