OK time for opinions. Got a stack of old arcade PCB from an OP associate. I am now the Proud owner of 20+ PCB of pre-jamma vintage.

After 6 weeks plus on and off I have finally got my q-bert bootleg 100% rezzed and working (version 3 in the notes) except for the fact it has no amp works minty. Well I still have a stack to go through.

Some of them I did Identify or were marked:
Xevious
Car Action (Bump & Jump clone)
Crazy Kong/ DK Junior (not sure might be my next project)
Dig Dug
Moon Patrol ( missing sound rom it seems)
1942
Dam Busters
Wrestling?
Baseball?

Well my question is at what point do you decide to dump them in a lot or start scrapping the lousy titles (not sure i could ever use or sell a Uniwars) for parts? As a first timer would appreciate some thoughts on this as I go through the paces of assembling a real test bench.

Thanks all in advance.

You could try selling them here as untested. Some of the titles will sell quickly (assuming your price is reasonable) while others will not ever sell. With few exceptions sports themed games do not sell. The rest of the list seems OK.

Of course, you could build adaptors for each board to make them function in one of your cabinets. At least then you could sell the boards as tested/working. However, building adaptors is time consuming and you may find that the boards don't function after all of that work...

Personally, I'd build adators or test them in known good cabs. However, I have a large network of collectors nearby and plenty of dead time at my day job to build adaptors, so I don't really loose any time doing so.
