Explained the best I can, but no one seems to understand...ahh

LET'S TRY IT THIS WAY...

Alright, after some good buying, selling and trading, I have FT in amazing condition and I only have $100 invested, if I do nothing that's Option #6. However, from here I can...

Option #1: Sell FT for $1800, be left with no machines but $1700 in profit.

Option #2: Trade FT for JD plus $500, be left with JD plus $400 profit.

Option #3: Sell FT for $1800 buy JM for $1250, be left with JM plus $450 profit.

Option #4: Trade FT for JD plus $500 plus buy JM for $1250, have a total investment of $850 and be left with JD and JM.

Option #5: Keep FT and buy JM, have a total investment of $1350 and be left with JM and FT.

Option #6: Keep FT, having a total investment of $100 "AKA: Just call it a day you lucky bastard."

Taking everything into account, including pairing variety in a very small lineup, what route would you choose?

Approximate game condition...

Fish Tales 8/10 : Johnny Memonic 6/10 : Judge Dredd 6/10

So, I just have no idea what to do with my machine. I have several options, including buying, selling and trading. Without getting into details, all of my final outcome options are listed below...

Option #1: $1700 cash
Option #2: $400 cash + Judge Dredd
Option #3: $450 cash + Johnny Mnemonic
Option #4: Judge Dredd + Johnny Mnemonic - $850 cash
Option #5: Johnny Mnemonic + Fish Tales - $1350 cash
Option #6: Fish Tales - $100 cash

Taking everything into account, including pairing variety in a very small lineup, what route would you choose?

"+ cash" means I'd have cash to later invest in another machine, or something else.
"- cash" means I'd be paying that out of pocket.

Approximate game condition...

Fish Tales 8/10 : Johnny Memonic 6/10 : Judge Dredd 6/10

May its the beers Im drinking but not really understanding this.

What are you trying to buy? Did you leave that part out maybe?

The options are simply what I'd end up with...how I'd get to each outcome is complicated.

So for a simplified example, would you rather have Judge Dredd + Johnny Mnemonic at a total investment of $850 -or- Johnny Mnemonic + Fish Tales at a total investment of $1350 -or- something else?

It's hard to explain that, I guess if it helps I'm currently at Option #6. I own a Fish Tales and I only have $100 invested into it. As for the other options, in 1-4 I'm selling or trading Fish Tales, in 5-6 I'm not giving up anything. It really doesn't affect the question though. I just really would like feedback with which final outcome you would be most happy with.

My votes for option 2.

Take the JD and the 400.

I just got a JD and its pretty sweet. I have played fishtales and personally didnt care for it.

Thanks...

Just for clarification that option (#2) would involve trading my FT for JD + $500. My FT is in great condition, JD is working but not nearly as nice. Option #4 is that plus buying JM for $1250.

Right now, I'm leaning towards option #4, having two machines for an $850 total investment seems really amazing, but all of the options are pretty good.

I didn't get FT for $100, I bought FT for $1100. Before that I purchased a JP plus two arcades for $1100. I was able to sell those for a total of $2100, thus my current total investment into pinball is $100.

I'm really not trying to make a profit or flip machines. However, I would like to eventually wind up with 2-3 machines I really like. If I sell FT it would be to buy something else.

In short, I just really lucked out, twice.

option 7 : sell the fish tales , take the profit and hustle some more pinball deals... then sell those and make even more money

Yeah, I'm thinking about taking the trade. The step down in condition is the only thing I'm worried about. I also do really enjoy FT. It has a great looping and flowing shots. It's the most "rythmic" game I've ever played. You just eventually feel it.

keep ft and buy either one of the other pins. if you really like ft then you may regret selling it. add to that the condition of ft and i would keep it. just my opinion.

it all depends on whether you like the gameplay or not. If you like it, keep it, if not get rid of it. Its that simple. The names dont mean shit if its just a piece of furniture. Figure out which ones you like playing best and go that way
