After a couple minutes of my Neo Geo being on, the screen seems to collapse and goes to this. It is a Kortek 27" but not sure on the model, can't seem to find that out, but seems to be a mirrored version of the K7000.

Also one more question regarding my G07 I just transplanted back into my Commando. I had to make a new connector for the power, but the wires were not colored black and white, both are black. Does it make a difference which goes to which?

I recapped the chassis and plugged it back in. I was able to play for about 20 minutes and then it started acting up again. I left it for a minute or so and the screen went to looking like this.

Actually found some great info and repair help on vertical collapse and repair over at arcaderepairtips. Hoping that it is just a cold solder joint if it works great until it gets warmed up.

Well, I just went and reflowed all the connections to and around the Vertical IC, turned game back on and played a full game of baseball. Took about 40 minutes and everything went OK. I left in on and see how it goes for a longer period of time, but so far OK.
It seems that things you think are going to be hard fixes are the easiest. In the last 2 day I fixed two Neo Geo boards and this Kortek chassis and they were ALL just bad solder connections. Clean up and resolder.
