Ok so My Star wars had a bit off gunk stuck on to the side of my Star Wars upright...Right about where the black part is on the death star.

So the ex-owners were lazy and just got a can of black spray paint out and sprayed the spot over. It, of course. Didn't work well and you could still see the lump of what ever and and now black spray paint.

So how do I get the paint off my Sticker??? I can get off the gunk I think... But will using harsh cleaner take away the sticker too?? What to do!? It's the only real major issue with the side art. :(

I see a lot of lazyness in this hobby from past "repairs" on my games..

I used a spray can of 3m adhesive cleaner(citrus smell) on the side of a ms pac to get off the contact glue from the formica i took off and it came off great without taking the paint off.
3M also has a adhesive cleaner in a liquid which is stronger. If you use this dab a cloth and quickly do it after you spray windex on the spot first to dilute it. wipe on wipe off quickly.

I did that to remove 15 year old glue off the game as well.. I'm not sure if I tried if on the spray paint though.. least I know I've been using the correct stuff to clean of the stuff. :)

I have found provided your good with the smell that the extreme goo gone in the spray can works great
