Not exactly a "fun" topic, but something I have thought of.

I've told my wife, if I go before her, just sell all my stuff to pay expenses... if not, open a museum...

I don't have kids yet, so I can't say if I'll pass them down. If/when I do, and they respect them, I will let them have them.

What about you?

At this point in time I really don't know. As for what I would like to happen, I would like for their to be a west coast arcade museum. I would like the games to go there.

I wonder if a funeral home would be upset if you had them set up your games around your casket or urn? I can only imagine if it was one of those multi-funeral homes, people all choked up going to see their dead Uncle Harold, and while walking down the hall to where Harold's laying in peace, they have to go by MY viewing, where people are standing next to my corpse and getting the new hi-scores on Asteroids, BZ, and Ms. Pac.. There could even be redemption tix that could pop out of a slit in my casket. :D

According to my wife, they're conveying with the house, given all the drama it took to get them into the basement.

Either that, or I will be some future KLOVers $50 cabinet score.

THAT is a good idea... lol

I don't have one... but if the funeral is held at a church... a Satan's Hollow would be a funny one to have set up...

I assume that my son-in-laws (I have two daughters) and my son and their respective children will be asking themselves if having my games in the basement was worth what a %#tch it was getting them out of the basement.

Oh well, not my problem!

My brother and I are the only ones in my family that care about arcade games really. I would want my brother to take them but I want him to know how to work on them so that if they break down they won't be on craigslist for $25.... Anyone will play a game, not everyone has the patience to maintain them.

I don't really care - I would be dead!

They're just games and don't really hold a special place in my heart. I don't place much real value on stuff - there is always more stuff out there to have. I'm sure my wife would just sell them or donate them to youth centers or something.

I'll probably leave them to my 2 sons if their living situation is stable and they want them, of course, heheh. The 5 year old already has dibs on Afterburner Deluxe, heheh.

I would want my friends and family to take whatever games they want to keep and then sell the rest. At my funeral I would probably want to have at least one cabaret or cocktail cab in addition to those picture collages and flowers you always see. Of course I hope to live a long time so if I'm out of the hobby for years then I would say just some pictures of me working on games would cover it.
