My Galaga is not made out of plywood , I think its MDF . Theres a sticker on the G07 that has a June 4 1982 date . When did they stop using Plywood ?

From what I have seen, Galaga was not usually available in plywood cabs. Ms. Pac and Pac Man were however made from plywood and are far better cabs in my opinion. I think the Galaxian was plywood. I can't speak for the Boscionian cabs as they were the first Galaga cab conversions. If Galaga was available in plywood, I would think it was just the earliest or latest production cabs. But the vast majority should be the MDF particle board. This is just from what I have seen. I suppose the better question is why did you think they were plywood to begin with.

i have seen and owned several galagas, all were laminated MDF, or in arcade terms, sponges.

My MsPac is made of plywood and I thought they were the same cab but with different art .

Low # serials of Galaga were plywood. I have one in the 800's and it's plywood and identical to a Ms. Pac-Man, except that they had a wood shelf and coin box bucket, similar to a Pac-Man / Galaxian style rather than the metal frame or chrome wire bucket holders in later cabs like Ms. Pac and beyond.

Galaga switched first to MDF long before Ms. Pac did. Once Ms.Pac switched from stenciled artwork to stickers, thats when they switched to MDF which they then used for the rest of their cab series afterwards.

My Galaga was serial #3329 and was MDF. I am assuming the switched over pretty early in the run.
