My first games were my two first grails. Rastan and Ninja Gaiden, bought within a couple hours of each other at my first auction when I was in high school. I think the years was 92 or 93. I ended up playing my money out of both of them before the monitor died in the Rastan and I ended up selling it. I've probably owned 35 since then including the first.
Space invaders Deluxe $50 1988 20years old. Still have it. Plays great. Never getting rid of it.

Dedicated Crystal Castles, won in a contest for having the highest score. year was 1994, I was 15th at the time. Still have the machine till this day.
Man, what a KILLER way to get a cab. BITD, I'd have broke a million on Ms Pac if I knew I could win the cab.

Tron UR, 1996, I was 19. Used my first corporate paycheck to buy it. And I found it via WORK, there was the internet at the time, but not like we know it now. I opened up the yellow pages and called around until I went from friend of a friend of a friend to eventually finding my way to a guy 30 miles a way who had a bard full of machines that had what I was looking for.
