What was your first machine and how old were you?

Tekken 2 in a 4 player Konami cab. I was 32. It was quickly used as a MAME cab. Now 8 years later, I am going to build a new MAME cab, so this cab will become something new. I may go with X-men or Turtles. the cab is empty now, but there is too much snow outside to get it out to the garage to start working on it.

I was 13 when I bought my first machine-Williams Pin called Tropic Fun. I bought this from a local op who liked that fact that I would always pay him cash. By the time I was 15, I had him delivering anywhere from 5 to 10 machines per week to my garage. At the time it was nearly 100 percent pins, around '85 he started delivering vids. First one was a Frogger. I'm 48 now but I still dabble here & there....

I don't remember the exact details of when I bought my first game, but I know the general area...

I would have been 20-21 and it would have been 2006-2007. It was Vs. Super Mario Bros. in a DK Jr. cabinet. Sold it to Freckledpeas on here, and got out of the hobby until last year.

Asteroids Cocktail in 1991 when I was 24... Holy crap that would make me 44.
Amazingly, the only repair I've made to the game was replacing the speaker which went bad about 10 years ago (also added a High Score kit).
It's worked pretty much flawlessly for 20 years. I'm sure I've jinxed that now...

bought first pin at age 11. It was a Gottlieb Surf Champ.
First vid, Reactor, when I was 13. It sits right here in my office.
I'm now 42.

I was 24 when I got my Final Fight (Phoenix cab) for $275 in 2000. I will have had my Pac and Ms. Pac for 10 years this summer :)

I was 30 when I bought my Timber. It will be the last game I ever sell. Well maybe that or my Gravitar.

ms pacman, super pacman bought together. 2005 I was 30 bought as a Christmas gift for my wife still have both and way to many others to count.

Ms Pac Man, Galaga, Frogger multigame (in a repro frankenstein Ms Pac/Galaga cab) when I was 9... I'm 16 now.

Last couple of years for me... Bad memory, so I will have to look through photo albums when I get home to know dates... But seriously, most, if not all, within the last 5 years. ...

Wow. Guess my memory is bad... Update time: I found that my first game was in December 2004! (A homemade mame cab, but still...) (And damn it was ugly!!!) So, starting with "real" cabs...

I was 31, and the game was capcom bowling in a Tapper cocktail. Bought it from someone on these boards, and still have the machine today, just cant give up on what started it all. Since then i've had about 90-100 machines cycle thru my gameroom.
