I was 24 when I bought my first machine: Twilight Zone. And yes, I realize this isn't the pin forum.

I built a MAME machine when I was 35 but decided that I wanted some actual cabinets that I grew up playing. So I bought a Xevious which I still have today.

Space invaders Deluxe when I was 12. I remember that like it was yesterday. $75 and they delivered it to my door. Oh the joy!

Forward MANY years later...I picked up a Taito mini for $100.

Inflation did not keep up with the SI games.... :D

I got one of those home use pinball machines (no coin mech) in 1977. Debatable if this is a real pinball machine, I know...

I got a space invaders pin over 20 years ago, then had a tron, sold them off and stopped collecting for 10+ years, then had cabinets in the mid 1990s, then stopped collecting for 10 years again and then started collecting the games I have now. So I've collected games 3-4 different times over the years. I'm over 40....so this will probably be my last time collecting games...

MAPPY in 1989 at age 18 for $450... From Todd Tuckey (TNT)!

saved up all that cash from working nights
and weekends at a toy store.

2005 - I was 30. I picked up an Empty Rolling Thunder cabinet from Rmackie and built my first MAME rig.

My first dedicated machine was a Double Dragon cab I bought in 2007. Sold it, and have since replaced it with another.

First pin was target alpha, I was 13, first vid defender, same age. Soon I had 5 vids in my bedroom. I don't think my parents were too keen on the idea. :D

1982 I was 18 and bought a Stunt Cycle from a local arcade for $200....the nightmare began then.
