What was this?

It somewhat resembles a very modified crane machine, especially with the red sides and the coin door being off set to the right.

First thing that came to mind for me is Ice Cold Beer, but ICB doesn't have a marquee off hang like that. A crane I seriously doubt because the skinny depth.....

At first that black square looking thing left of the coin door seemed to be a ticket dispenser, like it was a redemption game, but I think it's a speaker cover with some type of access door.....dunno

Romstar Goofy Hoops.
kind of a fun game actually.

that guy is a member here actually.

what a stupid looking game though.

I love how people always say "upgraded" as a sales pitch when it's really a big downgrade from an original. I guess that's just perspective though :)

Interesting use of a tall cabinet, but I'd want to be a little farther away to be using a 32" monitor. Do you think the ticket dispenser is hooked up?

Man - Now THIS is a loss...

A friend of mine designed Goofy Hoops and it was a HUGE success for them. Romstar eventually went on to become Capcom Pinball. For those of you that didn't know.

I kinda wonder how many Varkon's shared a similar fate. I've only counted around 20 of those out there that I know about.

That is what I was thinking as well. Looks like you could lean on the side of the cabinet and have it fall over.
