I'm a little late to the party, since I'm typically lurking in the background keeping up on posts here on KLOV, but since I've been away for awhile I missed out on the depressing news that Steve pulled out of the multigame board business...

That said, does anyone know if you can still reprogram your boards with the last version of menusys without a problem? ...I thought that you had to be connected to the internet to update, and given that the site is down wouldn't that cause a problem? Or was that only if you had DKII to install? Since the vertical games supported don't all fit on the board I like to switch them around every now and again and will be pissed if I can no longer do that. I also didn't install some duplicates on the board I have for horizontal games, and now that it looks like there won't be support anymore I feel like I should just put them all on and be done with it.

Also, what was the last version that was put out? I can only find 2.63, but for some reason that one doesn't show all those VS games that were last supported so I assume that's a previous version? ...If so, can someone send me the latest version?

Side note: I wish I had the hacking ability of the average 15 year old so I could reverse engineer menusys and make my own damn support! >:-(

The only one I know of is 2.63...
D2K is the only one that requires the code. If you are not programming that, the others should work. Minus the new Vs games...

yeah, after a little more research I was able to find a cached version of the last AS multiboard page and 2.63 appears to be it...

Odd... I can't get the ROMs from that update (the VS games) to show up in the menu. I wonder if that's what needs "verification" from the main AS site and why they refuse to show up. Kinda afraid to connect my boards out of fear everything will be erased and I won't be able to get what I want back on board.

Thanks for the reply.

*bump* Same problem. Anybody? The menusys 2.63 update efforts pop up an error message after (apparently) connecting online.
