Hello,
A friend has a Mata Hari pinball. Other friends built him a backbox, and now it's time to make a translite. If done quick enough the machine will make an appearance at Magfest. The machine was found on the side of the road and a bunch of work to restore it has already been done.
Our hackerspace was donated a DesignJet 1050C inkjet plotter that we fixed. It should be possible to print a Mata Hari translite with it.
Any suggestion on what type of plastic works? I found a few good write-ups about people printing them then varnishing/clearcoat over them to help increase the contrast. In these articles they send off the job to other people to get it printed.
In this case it would be fun to print it in-house.
