The title says it all people, I'm looking at repairing some duramold stuff. Does anyone know what type of plastic it actually is? I'm thinking it's gotta be either polystyrene or ABS. Any insight would be helpful

I always thought they resembled food-grade barrel material, which would make them HDPE. But I have no credentials to make any authoritative call, so that's just a guess.

Just tip one over and look for the recycling logo. ;)

My guess is polypropylene.

I guessed wrong. It is HDPE:

And yes - HDPE is a "weldable" plastic .

I remember seeing the original Williams blueprints for the duramold cab up on ebay once. Anyone know who ended up with them?

Ah shit, get 3darcadegames on the horn. He can reproduce these cabs, no problem.

Just as soon as he's done with all this work for Hollywood & his machine is repaired because his landlord walked on it.
