I have made three attempts at downloading a full romset for mame threw Qbittorrent version 4. with no success. It stalls and becomes unresponsive somewhere around 50 %. I know these are large files (50 gigs+) but this just seems like a flaw now.

Curious if anyone has had the same problem or if they use a different download program with great success?

Thanks
Blake

I personally use Deluge. Lightweight, no Ads and pretty much is what uTorrent use to be before they sold out.

Edit: Just saw your question, I have not downloaded any ROM sets but I am pretty sure it can handle 50+ GB's.

bittorrent 7.0, released in 2010 I believe. Turn off updates, and set it to "not" load when windows loads. It's been a very reliable client for me.

Can we get this moved. As I doubt OP has every pcb listed in a "full" mameset.

oh i see now. Shit hawk. I couldn't see it with the strong shit winds blowing in from your troll post but you were a little above the radar and i spotted you.

I thought the trolls were supposed to stay below ground until the shit shrooms bloom?

never used one of these # before but here you go: #unfckingreal#

Thanks

ok cool i will download and configure tonight. I switched up the connection between the laptop and tv. Went with an HDMI to composite converter and the image looks really good. Sound is there to which is nice. It makes the windows display very large and blurry once plugged in? not sure if that's normal. i still need to adjust the screen size a little but I'm guessing that's a configuration issue as well.
Thanks

No, that's normal. It's displaying windows at 640x480, which is is about the best you're going to get on a consumer Television. You MIGHT be able to get it to 800x600, but I doubt it. Not that it really matters, the windows desktop doesn't mean anything after you move into the front end and run MAME.

agreed. the display on the t.v was almost perfect but just need to adjust the boarder a bit. I'm pretty happy with it.

My Asus router has a built in program called "Download Master". I just copy and paste the torrent into that and let it go. It downloads to a usb attached thumb drive. Since the router is on 24/7, no need to keep a pc on.

None if that crap works. If they want to find you they can easily.
It does, it'll prevent you getting nasty emails when you download a popular movie or some shit from your internet provider when they receive an automated notice about it.
