What to use to strip graphics from playfield plastics?

I am looking to remove the grapics from a set of playfield plastics.
Nothing I tried removes the ink, I have tried lacquer thinner, paint
thinner, goof off, turpentine, goo gone and alcohol. Any ideas on what
I could use? I dont want to scrape it off cause Im sure I will scratch
the plastic. Any ideas appreciated.

Heat and speed. Take some buffing compound and a buffing wheel to them. Dont stay in one spot too long or it will burn/warp the plastic. Heavy duty compound and a little elbow grease might do it as well. Then work down with lighter compounds to get any scratches out.

Why?

What game? Some games actually have protector plastics available which are essentially blank plastics.

About the only thing I think you haven't mentioned is acetone. I'm not sure if it would damage the plastic though.
