OK, so last week eaconner and I went on a roadtrip and picked up a three machine lot.
Eric picked a really nice Ms. Pacman Cabaret and I got 2 cocktail tables.
The Donkey Kong Jr. cocktail I have already repaired and will keep original in my collection.

This Taito cocktail was converted to a Ms. Pac which worked for a little while without sound.
My bet is the 12v is out and the PCB may be fine. Monitor looks good, but could use a cap kit. Legs are rusty, but will clean up and take a coat of paint.

But just what do I do with this Taito converted table??
I don't want it, no space for it anyway.
My current thoughts:
-Install an LCD and 60-in1 and sell to cover the cost of the roadtrip and purchases.
-Keep the tube monitor as a spare for my Crystal Castles cocktail.
Believe it or not, the chassis was hot glued into the cabinet and is now just sitting loose in there.

But what is it worth? What was it originally?
It Looks like the control panels had a fire button which was covered for the Pac conversion.
So what would you guys suggest???
Anyone need taito cocktail parts?
If I convert this, the parts must be recycled into other machines!!

Ideas on schematics for the cabinet or the Pac PCB?

Not necessarily a Space Invaders, but it's definitely the right cab type...

Thanks guys, looks like I will be selling the power supply and wire harness.
The monitor will be re-installed into a proper frame and kept for a spare.

Any interest in a bootleg Ms. Pacman board that uses the wire harness??

I'm after a set of the brackets from the underside of the lid that the locks engage, if you're parting those out...

I am keeping the complete shell for a conversion.
Power block, harness, and PCB will be sold to restore something else.
I may have an extra coin mech shroud.

Because you can't play 2P simultaneous play on a cocktail.

Well, you can, but not on that one (unless it's something like Space Invaders II ;) ) It'd need to be one styled like a Joust cocktail for Bubble Bobble to work. Anyway, I think Taito sold a bunch of cocktail and cabaret cabs that ended up being used for bootlegs, so it may not even be a conversion. I know I've seen a few Crazy Kong's in Taito cocktails, and some DK Jr bootlegs in Taito cabarets.

" What to do with a Taito Cocktail?" If the game still works or only needs a little work; how about you donate it to a local Boys and Girls Club or an after school program of some sort. Forgive me if I missed the details of the game; I only skimmed this thread.

Pretty much a converted mess.
Blows fuses and monitor needs a cap job.
CP's have had 4 way nintendo joysticks installed.

Easiest path is a Jamma cabinet.
Will sell to pay for the roadtrip! :D
