I have a real nice one sitting on my monitor shelf but have no 25 inch game to put it in. I really wish I had time to build a 25 inch Jamma cab, but I don't. I know classic games don't really look that great on a 25 incher, so that's out. Hey, do any of the MK series use 25 inch monitors? I really can't remember. I really would rather find a use for this than sell it. What to do.

Hold onto it until something good comes along to use it in.

If you sell it off, you will find the perfect use for it 2 days later.

You KNOW that's how it works.

Me: "Eh, I'll never need this medium res Atari Sys II monitor. I'll sell the chassis and trash the tube. I know I'll never have a med res game..."

Me 2 weeks later: "I'm going to look at a paperboy with a possibly dead monitor. Sonofa!"

Luckily, the monitor was good but with paperboy hiscore burn. I could have used that tube I trashed as a swap.

All fighting games were supposed to use 25" monitors. You should use it in your Jamma cab. Everything looks better on a larger monitor, especially fighting games.

I as least open the box and take a look at the merchandise. Then put it somewhere for later.

Now if only I can find that.....

Exactly. Your box happened to be on a shelf with my Ninty PCB's, so I opened it to see which fine DK version I was in it, when Holy shit if it wasn't the GT2005 stuff that I had forgotten where I put a month ago. I also looked for 2 hours for my heat sink compound I *know* I have. Never did find it.

All MK's use 25" FYI. I have 1 and 3 both with 25"

mk 1&2 cabinets as well as smash tv, KI, nba jam, and trog use wells k7000 25".

Pretty much anything from that era is 25" I think gauntlet and the drivers were the first to go to 27".

Yup its been said but Midway used the K7000's for most if not all of their games during that time. If you are really hard pressed to find something to do with the monitor though, you could send me the chassis as my MK3 has vertical collapse, :).
