I'm a bit of a noob with vids. Just picked up a 60-1 with Taito cab. Seller put a real nice new monitor in it, but the chassis hangs out the back, and I can't install the door. Looking for options aside from getting a monitor that fits as it's really nice.

A few pics included...

Thanks in advance,

Brian

The back you would need something like this...

What you need is a vertical mount frame.....they used a horizontal mount frame.
No difference in the monitor itself, just the way the frame is orientated.

It's hard to tell what type of monitor you have from the pics, but yes, you need to either swap that monitor frame for a vertical frame, or if you can get your hands on one that allows for both vertical OR horizontal orientation, that would work too:

This is the monitor from one of my Dynamo 19" cabs. The board is on my bench right now for repair, but I figured I'd snap a photo of the tube and frame. This one allows you to rotate the monitor without causing clearance issues.

I had the same exact issue with a Taito cabinet a few years back. What I did was cut a small piece of the frame that was hitting the back door. That fixed it.

I had the same issue. I hammered it unil the door closed.
JK, I just left th door open until I can find a vertical frame.
WHo going to look.

I have a NOS taito back door bubble that I'm prolly not going to use. Bought the last (3) that were available and this one is sitting on my shelf.

It's in perfect condition and has the raised taito logo. I paid $45 plus $12.50 to ship it. If your interested, pm me.

So that back bubble is a real item made for this? It looks like a afterthought getting around this issue. I think I can find something to fit as well. Looks nice, kind of like a painters' paint pan for the paint rollers.

Just cut out the part that interferes. If you really can't measure it, start small and test fit it while enlarging the holes a little at a time. And then put that bubble on it that local413 offered up for sale.

 !! Just get a horizontal frame and swap the tube and chassis.
It is so easy.
