I picked up three Nintendo cabs yesterday (two blue, one orange) for the tidy sum of $50. Had no expectation that they worked so I was pleasantly surprised when I got home and they all fired up (well one has a bit of an issue that's I'll post in the repair section). Granted, they've been converted to vs. set-ups — two are mains, the other is a slave. So, now the question, what to do with them? I'll keep one as a vs. as I like Hogan's Alley, Duck Hunt, SMB and Excitebike. At first I thought about keeping one as a slave unit, but now thinking about it, if I've got the chips and CPs, I can easily swap out when the mood strikes. I'll covert at least one of the cabs back to a Popeye, DK or DKJ too.
So what do I do with the other one? Revert back to a classic or keep it as a slave?

Must........have.......pics!!!!!

But seriously, I love me some Duck Hunt. I would definitely convert one of them to Duck Hunt or Maybe Excitebike.

Here they are. Best $50 I've ever spent in this hobby.

Thanks! I actually ended up with five more Nintendo cabs … three I sold unrestored, and one I gave to my brother in law. I do have to say that the Nintendo Super Harness is AWESOME! Made my life way easier bringing these back from vs.
