What theme would you love to have as a pin?

Gruber, Love the avatar. My all time favorite band. That being said,
-Iron Maiden! Plenty of great hook tunes and the art work would look great on a pin. (see attached image for back box)
- Futurama - I can hear it now, ball goes into drop hole and..."Bite my shiney metal ass!" You could have targets of the characters and one of the play modes would be called "Kill all humans" and you have to hit all the human drop targets

From what I understand, Harry Potter is never going to happen. Supposedly Joanne Rowling has some hang up against pinball and will never license it. Of course that's all grapevine talk but you wonder if there isn't some truth to it. Of course the issue could also be that the license is so expensive that Gary Stern won't touch it.

I think a lego themed pin would be great. you can take it in all the different directions lego has gone and not even ned to cover their licenced stuff. Pirate Lego, Castle Lego, City Lego, Space Police Lego, Powerminers Lego..i think you get the point. They even have a Clutch Powers character they made a movie on that could be the adventurer the game is based on.

Kids would see it an HAVE to play it, and I dunno about you old men but i still think lego is cool and I am 30....I admit to buy my kids lego so i can "help" put them together.

Would be a fun looking machine if done right. Mode based play you could "build" up to a pretty slick wizard mode

How about Tele-Tubbies?

Hell, if Stern can regurgitate a bunch of 70 year old rockers (Rolling Stones) why not something equally ridiculous? No wonder the rumor mill has Steve Ritchie going to work for Stern. They need someone with some real design skills that can envision a real product, not some re-hashed, already been done before crap.

Whoa!......where did that come from?.....gotta put down the Red Bull and back slowly away!

I was just thinking about Lego before you posted this. I can picture all the playfield parts being made to look like lego bricks, as well as the cabinet art.

How about a Marvel themed pin? Not just Iron Man, but Wolverine, Cap, Hulk, Thor, Spider-Man, Nightcrawler, etc. all in one?

It's all subjective anyway. I agree that Rocky Horror would be WAY cooler than Glee but I wouldn't be surprised to see Glee sell more machines in today's market.

To get back to your original question. I would like to see a Masters Of The Universe pin. That would be cool.

This is the part where someone tells me that MOTU would be god awful ;)

whoaaaaaaaa, a he-man reference? +100 cool points to lindsey

MOTU would be sweet to see!

Or Thundercats, or Transformers, or Voltron. Hee hee

right on...+100 cool points 3x multiplier.....lol

how about a pin theme of killing all boy bands?

starting with bieber! then all the rest, seem corny? yeah, but with the 100's of terrible boy bands the rules could be the deepest ever!

stoning, burnt at the stake, beaten to death, castrated, skinned, trampled by pre pubesent girls,etc.......

Muppets - there would be no finer classic pin ever made.
Guess I'll have to leave that up to Jersey Jack Pinball to make it happen though.

well since Tron is now becoming a pinball, and one of you guys already stole my second choice of Ghostbusters, I'll go next down the list....

Transformers.

Ramp shots to defend Cybertron from attacking waves of Decepticons, skill shots to transform, different modes of play and score depending on whether you're in robot or vehicle mode, playfield components and ramps which transform shapes and change directions based on play, and of course loads and loads of badass toys all over the place.

Space-themed, freakin' badass robots with guns, iconic sound effects, perfect symbolism used throughout the artwork.

/end thread.
