I did a partial KLOV road trip on way to Vegas to get my kids. Ironically this one involved the great DPTwiz as well.
Started Wed morning at 7am, drove to Rising Sun to pick up an upright and 2 cocktails to deliver to Omaha Nebraska.
Arrived in Omaha Nebraska around 8pm central time i believe. Met JimK and checked out his collection and wow, saw some games i haven't seen in 25 years and some i have only seen in pictures on KLOV. Jim has an awesome passion for this hobby to say the least.
Hit the road around 930pm and stopped off about 60 miles from Colorado for night. Next day completed the trip. Father in law had picked up an up'n down at a garage sale and since the summer grandkid sleepover was done, we tried to figure out a way for me to get this home. I did a complete cleaning and inspection on the machine and found out that someone wired in an Arknoid board as well as installed a spinner on the CP. Machine cleaned up nice and the monitor was awesome with no burn in at all!
Needless to say as much as i wanted to add this game to the arcade, i had to leave it behind due to no room. He agreed to hold it so in the spring when i go back out ill take my trailer and bring it home.
Tried to land the red tent in Omaha on way back but no luck so i came home empty but still a great time to experience 2 new states i have never driven, Nebraska and Iowa and meet a Klov'r as well, Jimk. Also met DPTwiz for the 2nd time but my first time seeing his setup. Guy has a nice collection of vids as well.
