Law of supply and demand ...

Yeah, most popular JAMMA boards are at ridiculous prices these days. I think it's a combination of ebay sellers (especially European sellers) increasing the prices over the years, as well as an influx of the people who used to primarily collect console games, but have now crossed over to arcade collecting. Especially applies to most shoot 'em ups and almost anything made by Capcom. It is what it is.

I know more people feel like this but its flippers and asshats who are getting angry when we "Thread bash", no its a notice to not rip people off who just want to play a damn game.

So people are flippers/asshats and rip others off if they sell something for what it's currently worth? I think you need to vent on the collectors that are paying these prices and creating this demand, that is driving the price up.

For me it depends what I paid for something. If I got it for cheap Im more willing to let it go for cheaper. Unless im trying to buy another game cause I know damn well the seller isnt gonna cut me a deal because omgwtf prices are crazy.

Maybe try not collecting games that are sought after by every 20-something year old pleb that just bumbled their way into a job with disposable income.

I tend to agree with some of your sentiment, the hobby is becoming expensive, but this post accomplishes nothing save perhaps to make you seem cheap and a little whiny.

a lot of people use to get called on price here and they cried about it to mods [no price policing]

so now they sell here and on ebay at maximum price. [and no one can call them out on it.]

so not so many deal on here anymore.

How to get arcade deals:

1.) Steal

2.) Should step 1 be successful, proceed to step 4. If step 1 didn't work out, proceed to step 3.

3.) Murder. Return to step 1.

4.) REPEAT

So, you will sell me some of your games for $100? AWESOME!

No

That's why this post exists.

Sure, and this reply is pointless. *Whiny fingers while I type

Well thats good.

Things are worth what people are willing to pay, and not nessarily in a charge the highest price sort of way. I sold a couple of SF2 CE boardset years ago for like $40/shipped ea. Wish I'd kept them now. No way TMNT boards are only worth $100 now. Remember, back in the 90s, you couldn't give a lot of this stuff away.

Get better friends..

Got a call from someone needed a ms pacman pcb..

Drove over an hour dropped it off. It didn't work.
Pulled out the spare.. that worked..

The friendship is worth the drive and any cost the pcb board was.

I don't make a profit from friends and as a friend I help my friends in their hobbies..

Yes, I collect arcade machines but I also collect a really pretty good group of friends.
