I have an Atari Power Brick that I got in a lot of parts I picked up. The guy thought it would work for my Tempest, but one of the molex connectors don't match.

I was told the part # on the supply should tell what it's for. Only problem is, I can't find that number! On the transformer are the following sets of numbers:

42 7141C and 37 8010

The big blue is Mallory Type CGS, OMFD 15VDC, OS +85C, Surge 20V DC

The big molex connector is a 15-pin female connector. I will get a pic but can anyone for the life of me tell me which brick this is??? I used the following from bit_slicer as a reference as well, to no avail (only bc I don't have the numbers on my brick):

http://bitslicer.tripod.com/ar_brick_types.htm

And yes I can get a pic of it for you all..

AHA!!! Found the number on the mounting tabs on the base!! It reads 034482-01A. That doesn't seem to match bit_slicer's list, but at least I'm getting closer!

Yeah I know, I checked that one too- but what's weird is there is a guy who had it posted out on the interwebs as being in his LL. Pic attached:

Confirmed!!!! Pg 51 at the below doc, item 1 (base for power supply chassis)!!!!

Unless of course they are just referring to the metal frame?

http://arcarc.xmission.com/PDF_Arcade_Atari_Kee/Lunar_Lander/Lunar_Lander_TM-136_1st_Printing.pdf

(mine has an 'A' at the end of the serial number but going off of the guy's post at the earlier links, it looks like a match!)

The rectifier board number is the same as well at item 10, I am going to check the other components now to see if they are all matches or not.

Everything is matching up!!

Big Blue = 27000MDF x 15V (the manual calls for 26000 MDF but we all know how parts can get swapped of comparable size)

fuses:

location 1: has a fuse in there that I can't read the number on, think it's an MDL 3 (but could be an '8')
location 2: 7A
location 3 7A
location 4: 3A
location 5: 3A
location 6: 3A

All closely matches the LL manual.. I think we have a winner :)

My Lunar Lander power brick has a Mallory Big blue too and that's the first time I see that, then again, this is my first US built Atari cab...My Centi, SW and VP are all Irish.

That 34482 number is for the metal frame that holds everything. Check around the transformer itself for apart number. Some of them have copper wrapping/shielding around them with the number stamped in them but from the looks of yours, it might not.

The bottom side (are the diodes in question the ones shown on the rectifier board? Or elsewhere?)

The diodes are the two disc-like shaped things on the PCB.( to the right of the Big Blue screw terminals on your picture.)

This looks exactly like my Lunar Lander power brick so it's probably that or Asteroids, but I think these are identical.
