what the heck is this -5 volt crap???

sounds like a pretty wimpy voltage to me...i need MORE power, not less...negative voltage sounds like you're getting ripped off...
now if your centipede to jamma adapter isn't hooked up to the -5 volts on the power supply, then the sound won't work...go figure
 
You my friend need some MANLY voltage.

I'd suggest ignoring that suggestion to use -5v and wire it up to straight 220!

That'll really make the audio spectacular!
 
i was trying for a little humor at my ignorance...i had a centipede cab that someone put a jamma golfing game in it...i bought a centipede board from one of the guys on here and a jamma adapter online...it worked fine except you could barely hear the sound...i messaged lucasnov (the guy i bought the centipede board from) and he told me it sounded like a -5 volt problem...when i checked it out, the previous owner never hooked up the -5 volt wires to their jamma connector...i hooked them up and now the sound works great

i have a very good electrical background, just not so much of an electronics background...

We'll if its a Neo 29 Cany cab, The connectors are like the Crystal skull from Indiana jones. impossible to find and only heard of ROFLMAO!

Hey, don't you Ohio guys have major appliances that run on 220?

I'm pretty sure my dryer does here.
 
i just revisited this post...you guys are great!!! yes we have 220 in ohio...and paved roads and running water too
