What the H......is this thing?

wow, a bit overkill for that game. Not a bad concept (as it looks like a showcase cab) just wrong game and really wrong color.

I've seen "cabs" like this before but know nothing about them. Interesting thing is how Stargate is called "Defender 2" just like on the (TOY) Midway 12 in 1 Target game. So I'm real curious what is running in this thing. Did Williams distribute a "Defender 2" PCB?
One thing I recall that was annoying was how Defender 2 defaulted to a free ship every 20,000 points instead of 10,000. If the game defaults to a free ship at 20,000, I'd be suspicious that is was related to the cheap toy stuff...

I believe there was a mini out a couple years ago with these two games, must have swapped the board out, lemme go try to find a picture.

Edit: Yup, Team Play put out Defender 1 and 2 in a cabaret in 2003. Here's a pic.

IIRC there was a legal thing BITD and they changed the name from Stargate to Defender II. I know that both games exist for the Atari 2600.

It is a nice huge cabinet for sure. Costs a lot to get a nice huge cabinet like that!

Didn't Williams (or maybe it was someone else) release a few 2-game multicabs a few years back? I remember seeing a Defender/Defender 2 at a truckstop a few years ago. Although I didn't pay as much attention to that kind of stuff then as I do now, it looked official to me (i.e. a regular Williams style cab, not like the one on in the auction, or the small cabaret size posted in the thread here)
